I received my Canon S95 this week and took a couple of shots in really dark lighting conditions. In these shots there are two light sources, an interior light from the left that barely reaches the shooting area and a streetlight from the right, shining in from a window.
This one was taken at ISO 400 with a 1 second exposure.
This one was taken at ISO 80 with a 15 second exposure.
I’d only ever tried to take these kind of shots with an SLR previously, I think the light in second one (ISO 80, 15 second exposure) has some really nice characteristics.
