One of the things I’ve done on this site is try to find interesting ways to leverage and expose my content. It started with Popularity Contest to give me a way of exposing the content that was most popular. Then I decided I’d like to have a way of highlighting content that I thought was particularly good – sort of an “editors picks” – and created the Articles plugin. I also experimented with parsing data from my content with the Link Harvest plugin.

My most recent experiment is Threads, a way of showing an ongoing topic in a timeline – as you see here. The idea behind Threads is to provide your readers an easy way to access context about a particular post so that you don’t have to re-hash important historical points in every post on the topic.
