I’ve been meaning to stop the car and take this photo for years; finally did it. I might try it again with more focus on the broken down stone structure on the left side.
I liked the fence here – ended up being right next to where we parked by the side of the road.
This was from a drive at the end of January; I thoroughly enjoyed getting to put the top down in 2015 long before I expected to. It’s warm and beautiful in Denver this week as well – I am not complaining.
I took a few photos in Maine during our extended weekend stay post-Monktoberfest. We stayed at an awesome 1800’s farmhouse that had been nicely renovated; had a fantastic house concert from Liz Longley, and visited Fort Popham.

My parents still live in the same house in Seattle that I was raised in. I’m in town visiting them this week and this morning took a walk through the neighborhood. Lots of things haven’t changed much in the last 20 years.
No, not that Golden Gate – it’s a state park near Golden, Colorado. We spent a weekend camping there a few weeks back – beautiful area. Here are a few photos.
