Callaway Vintage Wedges

Posted in: Equipment

Last week, I replaced my KZG wedges with a set of 2004 model Callaway Vintage wedges and I’ve been quite pleased with them so far. The grooves on my KZG’s were getting worn down and I didn’t care for the swingweight much either so it was time for a change.

The Callaway’s are very traditional at set up, with a finish that will rust with time. I’ve already started taking some of the dark off the leading edge and middle of the face of the clubs.

These are almost the same as the 2005 model, but they don’t have the little grind on the bottom edge that the new model has - I didn’t think that was worth $60 a club though.

At $60/club, these are a very nice deal.
