Torched

Posted in: Club Making

I got a propane torch this weekend and finally removed the heads from some clubs I’ve been meaning to reshaft. I took the Golfsmith club making class and generally understand everything I need to do, but this is my first time doing it without supervision. :)

I’ll be putting new shafts in a set of wedges first (not for me), then putting new shafts in a set of Snake Eyes 600C iron heads (reviews) for myself. I would have gotten the 600B’s for 7-PW but I ended up buying them on eBay pretty cheap so I’ll go with a full set (4-PW) of the 600C’s for now.

If you have access to a swingweight scale, I would definitely use it! Good luck
