This is in reply to the comments made about Hyland Hills above posted Nov. 2nd, 2007. I live at Hyland and to me, it is a fine course and the price can't be beat. Yes, it does have some very tough holes. Some of them are blind shots that take some guts and imagination to pull off. Do you prefer boring, perfectly straight, flat - no slope - golf? Maybe you should play Overland.?.?. It's alot easier and cheaper too..... Just think, guys like me who appreciate a challenging yet inexpensive course won't be held up by slow play from guys like you who need a milder course. As for the people who work in the pro shop, I'm sure it is a very difficult task to be 100% courteous to every customer that walks in when 50% of them have absolutely no golf etiquette, let alone the proper respect for the game. For the record,.....I play golf at Hyland several days a week and I have never been treated less than friendly by any of their staff. If you think the fairways at Hyland are narrow,...try Legacy Ridge some time.....Fare,well fellow golfers, and hit 'em on target (not neccessarily straight) lol
