I love the way Rafe applies this to GitHub. I believe we are opportunistically pragmatic at Crowd Favorite, stealing whatever good ideas we can and weaving them together. We believe strongly in giving individuals (designers, developers and project managers) a chance to contribute directly to our projects, but always with an eye on critical self-examination and assessment to see how things can be improved.
