Someone recently posted the entire contents of their SPAM comment generator script into my comments; I assume by mistake. It’s pretty interesting to look at. It appears that each line is a different comment with replacement clauses that would be randomly selected.

@chriscoyier @alexkingorg thats pretty interesting. I wonder if a regex can be generated to auto remove matches WP plugin could catch a lot.

That’s fascinating. Thanks for sharing.
That’s downright interesting. Based on a quick scan of the contents, I’d say that exact Spam Comment Generator Script (or a clone thereof) is likely the base from which 95% of the Spam hitting my site is produced.
Or rather, trying to hit my site. Akismet is catching all but one in a thousand or so.
I’ve seen twitter bots leak like this glitching spam comment one http://t.co/yPW5uF43Cr

Interesting. You know, I’ve seen this exact format accidentally posted on Pinterest before where an account was autoposting a bunch of pictures and seemed to have built up a lot of followers just through auto posts. Makes me wonder how many of their millions of users are real people. We know that this likely happens on Facebook and Twitter, there’s so many companies listed at http://www.buyfacebo[...]sreviews.com for instance that I’m sure this goes on. But if Pinterest has reached this level too, it means there’s significant commercial interest there. Interesting.
