I made my first eagle on a par 5 this afternoon. The hole is a 512 yard dogleg right, today the pin was in the back. I hit driver 300 into the right rough, then nuked a 4-iron 225+ yards out of the light rough, into the wind, and onto the green. I made the 10 foot uphill putt for eagle. Whoohoo!

It was an interesting round, I started w/ a par, then lost 2 driver shots OB right on the next hole and took an 8, then 4 straight bogeys (all 3-putts, yuck!) before closing with 2 pars and the eagle for a 42. Ahh, what could have been…
