I did do a backup first and restored from the backup (which turned out not to be necessary). I’m very glad to know that I can restore from a backup if needed, thank you phpMyAdmin. Anyway, if you were here an hour or so ago and the site seemed funny for about 5 minutes, that was why. 😳

The good news is that an action that used to take 13 seconds (saving a deeply nested task in a complex task tree) now only takes 2 seconds! Yeah, it was not at all optimized the first time…
