I went and registered my business name with the Department of Revenue in Colorado today. The guy at the counter told me they installed the software they are still using in 1974! I set up another sole proprietorship, but I’m going to need to set up an LLC later this year if things go according to plan (check in tomorrow for the plan for 2004).

With my trade name paperwork in hand, it was on to the bank to open up new bank accounts (no Bank of America in Denver). We went with US Bank, but after I play around with their online banking I might test out Wells Fargo before we get too settled. Anyone have experience with either bank? Particularly the online banking aspect.

Next on the list: Colorado car registration and driver’s license. The hits just keep on coming!
