I’ve updated my “plugged in” version of WordPress to 1.5.2. This includes the following additions to the standard WordPress install:
- WP Grins (new version, should validate now) – clickable smilies.
- WP Since Last Visit – shows new posts/comments since your last visist.
- WP Mobile – PDA friendly layout w/ auto-redirect.
- WP Photos (still not available separately) – add photos to blog posts.
- WP Unformatted – turn off default formatting on a per post basis.
- Theme Switcher – allow your visitors to pick their theme – works with all themes downloaded from my site.
Download it from my WordPress page.
[…] I’ve put alexking.org’s wp-mobile.php interface up, it’s a WordPress interface for mobile devices. Not 2 hours after I had uploaded the files than the Word Press ‘Plugged In’ is released, the latest WordPress version with the WP Mobile script already set up with auto-redirects and all. The bundled version also includes a number of other plugins such as ‘WP Photos’ and the ‘Theme Switcher’. […]

TextDrive is moving servers right now, so things seems a little in flux. I’ve posted the download on my site.
Alex: Did you apply your superior patch to the metadata generation of wp-commentsrss2.php?
Alex … please don’t hit me.
Alex … put the gun down.
ALEX! Nooooooooooooooooooo! 😉
The comments RSS patch was not as bad as it looked, due to some (IMO) rather questionable code that executes in the header section.
Hi Alex, this is a nice bundle that definetly makes setting up a new site easier. I’m a recent convert from blogger to WP and already have a 1.5.2 installation that I’ve moved my comments and stuff into as well as added various plugins and stuff to. Is it possible to just extract the components that I want from the plugins directory and move them into my existing site, or is there more beneath the hood than meets the eye?
Hello Alex
I have upgraded to WP 1.5.2 Plugged in from WP 1.2+ WP Photos. Everything works fine except when try to add or edit photos och cliking on a photo page like this http://cederman.net/[...]to.php?id=95, all i get is “No input file specified.” in the browser
Do you know what I can do to fix this
Thanks
WP Plugged In 1.5.2 Updated
I’ve updated my WP Plugged In 1.5.2 release to include a few files that were missing from the original download. This also includes a version of WP Photos that is nearly a true plugin.
Download is available on my WordPress page.
…
How do you get this to work with WordPress 2.0?
I meant, how do you get WP Photo to work with WordPress 2.0?
Hello Alex can you put up this old file again i loved this one and my harddrive broke down :/ and i wanna use this version again one of my big favorite. WP Plugged In 1.5.2
Sorry, no. Too many security holes. I might do a 2.1.x version at some point, but most of my plugins are just drop-ins now, so there isn’t much need.
