I’ve said it before and I’m sorry to have to say it again now – Tim McCarver ruins baseball games.
Between his idiotic babbling and Fox missing half the game to show random close-ups of people’s faces, it’s really hard to enjoy the postseason so far. And that’s a shame.
The comments are open, throw your own log on the fire.
Amem brother, Amen!
When is Fox’s contract up again?
you know how Benjamin Franklin once said that beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy?
well, having to listen to Tim McCarver year after year is proof that Fox hates us, hates baseball, and wants us all to be miserable.
Heh, reminds me of a Family Guy episode where Brian (the dog) makes a reference to Tim McCarver’s sportcasting.
But yeah, I agree.
Family Guy clip:
The only person worse IMHO is Joe Buck. He’s effectively ruined Fox’s football pre-game show for me.
Tim C. is an idiot! He and Buck are making a mockery of this series….they are nothing but slappies for St. Louis and of course there’s history there…I’m a Sox fan and I even see that FOX, McCarver and Buck set up Rogers….what a farce of a broadcasting team!!
Indeed! I’ve muted the past two games, since I just can’t stand him. Buck I can tolerate for a little while, but TM is enough to make one turn off the Series.
Here’s a question for ya, if you watch college football – who’s worse, McCarver or Andre Ware? Ha.
McCarver is a senile, slobbering egomaniac who recites the obvious with such slobbering solemnity that real fans just want to puke or strangle him. If I didn’t lobe baseball so much, I’d boycott FOX…instead I’ll just watch the game with the sound muted. McCarver needs to be dumped!
Tim M. sucks the excitemebt from an already slow-seeming game. He actually was talking about Denver weather as the first pitch of this yrs. world series was thrown. It is the worst baseball coverage that I remember since as a child I suffered through radio play by play. I swiched channels and guess what- I,didn’t fall asleep whie watching a blood-soaked thriller. I read all about the game in the ‘paper this morning. Fox,wise up!
