A few goals for 2007:
- Structure my work day a little better. More time coding and less time dealing with e-mail, etc. through better time management.
- Do a better job being on time (I’m normally ~5 minutes late). I plan to do this by trying to do a better job of stopping what I’m doing at a given time rather than always trying to do one more thing before I go.
- Bring my golf handicap down to 7.
- Continue to eat a little healthier. I lost 10 lbs this fall and I’d like to lose another 10-15 lbs in 2007.
i’ll try and be better about being on time as well 🙂
Good luck with that on time thing.
One thing about me, being on time and putting things off…
I plan on procrastinating a little bit faster then before.
I used to wait before putting things off, but now I plan on putting things off immediately. You can’t possibly be a good procrastinator otherwise!
What, you’d rather be Teutonic about time than Hispanic? 😉
Your idea is a good one. You might also do a couple time-and-motion studies to see how long it takes you to wrap something up so you have a metric for that and can use that to help motivate you.
[Again, I should have been an industrial engineer. Next thing you know, I’ll be discussing therbligs here.]
