My MacBook Air (i7, 10.7.1) almost always fails to reconnect to wifi network when waking from sleep. Anyone else have this problem? #osx
@alexkingorg @mjangda mentioned his new air’s wifi being the suck
@alexkingorg yes. iMac and an Air.
@alexkingorg Yeah my Mac does the same thing.
@alexkingorg Happens ALL the time to me on my MBP with 10.7.1, and on my gf’s MB with 10.7.1
@alexkingorg I don’t have that problem, but cannot connect to an SMB share with credentials, it always connects as guest 🙁
@alexkingorg Mine does, too. I always have to turn the airport off then on and then wait a few minutes.
Yes. I was hoping 10.7.1 would fix that.
@alexkingorg: i think @BillHiggins just did
@sogrady @alexkingorg My fix doc’d here http://t.co/SvfhG96 Silly but worked
@BillHiggins I haven’t been able to test exhaustively, but early indications are promising. Thanks! /cc @sogrady
@alexkingorg not an enterprise 802.1x network is it? My 2010 MBP has had that intermittently – never worked out why!
nope.. airport extreme reconnects all good.. ps, I don’t use power button to wake.. click mouse pad or space bar..
@alexkingorg: I had that problem upgrading to 10.6. @BillHiggins fix (new Network Location) worked then for me, so no big surprise it works for 10.7 too.

@alexkingorg Mine too. Same exact config.
