I’ve used my iPad and Kindle a bunch during the same time period, but my Kindle Fire has sat for a week on my desk collecting dust.
Color me surprised…
I’m almost starting to think I don’t need an e-reader, budget tablet, high-end tablet, travel laptop, gaming laptop, 3 gaming consoles, desktop PC, and smartphone.
I have had exactly the same experience. I think the Kindle Fire would be great if you don’t have an iPad, but it’s really redundant for enough use-cases if you do that you don’t want to learn it for the use-cases where you don’t.
So I decided to return mine and get my $200 back.
