A good example of an app I might buy if I could demo it first. I’m using nvALT on the Mac right now and like its features but don’t care much for its interface. The idea of live preview for Markdown syntax except the current line where you are editing is intriguing as well.
I’ve been liking [Mou](http://mouapp.com/)
🙂
Mou looks great! I would love for Mou to be able to read / navigate Notational Velocity notes.
I tried Mou a while back and didn’t care for it. I think Valletta looks like a a nice option, but agree on needing it to work with a Dropbox folder (that’s how I use nvALT).
I agree about needing to be able to try some of this stuff before you buy. I ended up getting a copy of Valletta and have been a little disappointed, perhaps for silly reasons. I prefer dark backgrounds with white/light text and it’s prepackaged themes don’t have this as an option. I tried editing the CSS myself but it won’t “take” a dark background for me. So I’m pretty much back to using Mou.
