That’s a pretty good idea. I’d choose a number a bit rarer than .5 though – why not go a few decimal places deep? Seems like a good candidate for official support and a corresponding documentation change.

Looks like some very useful new features. I’m still not entirely comfortable with the built-in developer tools in Firefox or Chrome. I’m still using Firebug.

As an industry, we just aren’t sure how to solve some of these problems yet. We’ll try things, see problems, try more things, and eventually establish a set of agreed upon best practices. I expect at least a few more years of exploration before things begin to take coherent shape.

I’m trying hard to not jump to premature conclusions about sandboxing, but the lack of answers at this stage (and “changing” rules for the iOS App Store, etc.) would really concern me if I were an iOS or Mac developer.
