Happily, I already follow most of these tips. I write this from the airport where I just learned that Frontier doesn’t support Global Entry/TSA Pre-check. I expect this to be my last Frontier flight.

Great tips. I flew my last Frontier flight in early January and switched over to United. Having been partnered to a Frontier employee for 7 years, Summit for a number of years, and still technically having free flights on them, I don’t miss them one bit. Things like wifi, TSA Pre-check, lounge access, and the occasional upgrade to first have made the move worthwhile.
If you’re status on another airline (such as Frontier) and want to move to another airline (such as United), google “[airline name] status match”. United, for example, will give you an equivalent status if you fly X miles within a short period. (http://www.united.co[...]oCode=TB8230)
