Just had to change to another set of headphones mid-song because of lack of high-end balance in the first set. Concerned this is an early symptom of audiophilia nervosa.

Also known as…. getting old.. ????
Depends. If you switched from Beats to something good, then prolly not. If you went from Shure to Sennheiser or similar, probably. 🙂
I went from this: http://www.amazon.co[...]_cr-mr-title
To this: http://www.amazon.co[...]e+headphones
I think you made a good switch. Those shures are pretty nice cans… Pretty flat and accurate. I’ve never tried Polks newer stuff.
The Polks came in the mail as a review unit. I’ve had the Shures for years and love the sound, but they are too heavy and make my head hurt. I know, first world problems…
Haha. Yeah. I have a pair of Sennheiser HD380s I use during production work and when I want accuracy. Side benefit is they’re a ton more comfortable than my previous pair (Sony MDR-7506).
I’ve been using these for awhile: http://www.amazon.co[...]e+headphones – and they’re pretty decent. But after too man drops and travel bumps even they’ve declined. Headphones aren’t as hardy as they used to be. Also, Justin said “cans”, heh heh.
