What is your recommended mouse these days? My rechargeable Logitech Performance MX is driving me nuts by doubling ~75% of my clicks.

Logitech M500, but I’m one of those folks who wildly prefers cords to cordless.
@alexkingorg My Logitech anywhere MX is having the same issue and it’s driving me absolutely crazy,
Following. My coworkers have started mocking my mouse. It works though- and I like the weight of it. (I like cords too) omg I’m old.
@alexkingorg I use a gaming mouse http://t.co/7Mawh0by4v as I prefer the precision with retina displays.
I have the same Logitech mouse. Still working well!
@alexkingorg I’ve always enjoyed my MS Arc: http://t.co/JKTNCBkyVk
Haven’t used the updated model, but this one is nice & has quiet clicks.
Probably not worth mentioning… but I love my Apple Magic Mouse. It eats batteries but it is quiet, light, and supports touch controls.
Currently making do by dusting off my Magic Trackpad. This is fine for everything except fine detail/art stuff.
I too have settled on the Magic Trackpad. Many time saving gestures are not available on my $100 Logitech mouse. Ironically the refurb $35 Trackpad does me better… Picked up a couple of them.
Mine too. I wonder if it’s a software bug.
I’m pretty partial to this guy: http://www.petsmart.[...]m%3Dcategory
I’m on my second Performance MX after the first on went nuts. I know a few folks who really like this Logitech (replacing their MX) http://gaming.logite[...]gaming-mouse
I don’t have any driver software installed, just whatever ships with OS X. This fellow reports the same issue: https://twitter.com/AWaselnuk/status/568472225105489920
I’ve been using the Logitech M510 (wireless, uses the Unified receiver) for a good while now and love it. My main requirement is an ambidextrous mouse, though, since I use my left hand. And I like large mice.
I use same mouse with no problems on Yosemite (can’t live without it).. I would try the Logitech software – no probs for me and I run a ton of other crap too.. http://support.logit[...]-mx#download
@alexkingorg I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the magic mouse
@tnorthcutt @alexkingorg I second this…it just works.
@AndrewFerguson Sorry, my wrist can’t take it. It is horrible ergonomically. /cc @tnorthcutt
@alexkingorg @tnorthcutt for ergo, I’ve seen a number of people at work using the http://t.co/HCADYqRhch
I really enjoy the http://www.logitech.[...]h-mouse-t630
Hey Alex – I use the trackpad. But most of my gains have been from switching to Vim and Vim-like keybindings for everything that I can. The Vimium Chrome plugin in particular is a nice example. It’s not perfect, but once you’re used to it, you can save a decent amount of time. Add in Alfred, and my use of the mouse in general has plummeted. I think that’s a good thing.
