WordPress .71

Posted in: Software

I installed the WordPress .71 release last night. It is a bit faster as advertized, but not quite enough to make me upgrade just yet. It appears that the b2 hacks I’ve written that aren’t included yet in WordPress still work with it. I expect that will change when they start using Smarty for templating (I should say I don’t think you will be able to use both). Some of the new features in the Admin interface are very nice, I think it’s evolving into an excellent blogging system.
