tasks 1.8.6rc1 released

Posted in: Tasks Pro™

I’ve released tasks 1.8.6rc1. This includes a couple of changes that should make the iCalendar work better and a change to PHP iCalendar that should put the tasks iCalendar into the ‘Calendars’ drop down. It also redirects more mobile browsers now.

Tasks 2.0 development is coming along well, I hope to release the first beta next week to the people who’ve donated.

Thought I would let you know that I just downloaded 1.8.6.rc1 and got it working on a debian Linux distribution (Lnoppix) without any problems, other than a few self-inflicted ones.

P.S. Is there any way to export events from Outlook and import them into Tasks/PHPiCal?

    Thanks,

Great, glad to hear it. There aren’t any importers yet, but it’s in a standard MySQL database so you might find something close you could use.

I think I’m going to add a CSV and VEVENT/VTODO import at some point but I don’t know when.
