Rockies 3, Marlins 9

Posted in: Sports

I went to the Rockies-Marlins game tonight. The young Rockies hung in there pretty well, but couldn’t avoid giving up a big inning late in the game. First time I think I’ve ever seen back-to-back triples.

Coors Field is a really nice place to watch a game - I highly recommend it if you’re passing through Denver. Lots of seats available - probably for the next few years (as the team rebuilds). :)

Good thing you went Tuesday. I went yesterday, game delayed 1.5 hours, 2 innings played, then cancelled.

Glad I’m within walking distance. :-)

Aye - games today were cancelled as well. Hope you at least enjoyed some of the overpriced food. :)

That was the plan. But because of the massive delays we just went across the street to the Breck Brewery. No rain and fresh beer, what else do you need during a delay?
