Bedside Notebook

Posted in: Development

A week ago, I went out and bought a little notebook to keep on my nightstand - a place to jot down ideas so I can let them go and get some sleep (part of my electronic brain plan). Last night I used it for the first time and it worked out pretty well. If only my handwriting wasn’t so miserable these days.

Initially I was going to get one of those nice Moleskine notebooks, but for some things I’m was a cheap bastard and I finally grabbed a cheapie padfolio from the local store. :)

I find that I do better with a voice recorder, because I can speak a whole lot faster than I can write.

I know what you mean Alex.. when I hit 50 I noticed it’s a good idea to write down my thoughts or ideas, but from the years of keyboarding my handwriting just sucks. I am thinking of using my iriver for voice recording my ideas, but sometimes I like to sketch a little diagram or flow chart and paper and pen are the only option.

    Moleskine at Barnes and Noble
