Herding Judges

Posted in: WordPress

I should have listed this as one of the challenges of running a competition. :)

In case the info is useful, the way I handled this was to have a pool of judges that reviewed everything. If some didn’t get have time to do the judging, that was fine but I didn’t wait for them.

In this case (where I’m guessing the plugins are divided up between judges), I’d try to have 3 judges on every plugin so that if one or two weren’t able to judge by the deadline their results could be excluded and they wouldn’t be holding things up.

Ah, the joys of coordination – hats off to Mark for running a top notch competition. I hope we get the verdict soon.

I don’t envy you… a project the size of this one takes more dedication than I would have I’m afraid… keep up the great work.
