All I require is the ability to add in users from my Active Directory and have the password lookup done via LDAP so the passwords are the same throughout. Mine is a simple case but its all I need. :)

I’ve heard that initially from a number of customers, but when I’ve spoken to them their needs have generally been a little more complex - hence my post here.

I’d be happy to talk about it by email or phone. Write my personal address and I’ll send you my work contact info.

I think my needs are much the same as Ray’s, but I can imagine that it’s clarifying to be able to ask questions, etc.

The Univ. of Wisconsin Madison would be interested in discussing how to integrate with web access control mechanisms, in our case Pubcookie. Please feel free to email me if you’d like to talk.

As noted by Ray, I would like an admin screen to add new users from an LDAP directory and have the password lookup done via LDAP.

It would be nice to allow some kind of filter to choose users which should be added (organizational filtering)

Users which are in the database but do not appear in the LDAP request should/could be marked as “obsolete” but not deleted.
