   Thanks for trying to do what you can to reduce it’s footprint. But I’ve had to run your plugin without the javascipt library all together. The number of calls to the server it was causing was astronomical. (Doubling or tripling the calls)

   And thanks to your work, it works ok without. Not as fancy, but it works. I’m not sure why all the extra calls, but I was seeing tons of them.

   Why not copy the CSS and JS into your existing files and turn off the header calls that include them?

   Creating a drop-in plugin is normally the least optimized way to make something work. But folks can’t follow complicated installation directions and love easy drop-in installs.

   Hi Alex. You may want to try Dojo’s ShrinkSafe. I am using a compressed version of Prototype created by ShrinkSafe and it works just fine in IE7.

   Great plugin, thanks for the effort! I do have one minor problem with this, that is the “akst_action=share-this” page. Your akst_page() function did not include the character encoding information in the xhtml header, and this will break those unicode character such as “, ‘ and characters in other language.

   Adding into the head section of akst_page() solved the problem.

   I love the plugin but would like to change it so as not to create additional pages, but instead keep the social icons in the tidy litte popup.

   Can you offer some advice as to how to make that happen?? What needs to be changed to offer the popup version rather than the whole new page?

    Earlier I had writen you about the error, N.P. I’v solved that.

    However, I would like to request you for adding a Feature to this fantastic plugin i.e. “Print” option.

    Once, added the plugin will become more compact thus eliminate the need of another plugin to offer printing option.

    i’m wondering how protected from spambots the email send to a friend link is?

    Is there an easy way to disable this option? Or to add a human readable question (similar to your comment question)?

    I think I know the answer already to this, but hey, worth a shot.

    Is this, in any form, workable on a TypePad and or Wordpress (free) Blog.

    I am so impressed with its clean unobtrusive footprint and would well.

    Od does anyone no of anything similar? I am using a re-hashed version of SocialLinksBookmarklet on both my Typepad and Wordpress Blogs, but looking for soething that does what your does very simply and well.
