So I got tapped for Pay it Forward Tuesday. It’s a pretty cool idea, I’m happy to do my part to spread the word. However, I haven’t decided on a site to promote yet.
Why don’t you guys give me some suggestions in the comments over the next 24 hours, and I’ll pick one and update this post accordingly.
UPDATE: I’ve decided to give tap Rands in Repose for the honor. Whenever I see a new Rands post, I stop whatever I’m doing and read it (and normally link to it). His is the only feed that gets this special treatment (and Geof nominated him), so I think he’s a good choice. Ze Frank was also in the running. I look forward to seeing who he pays it forward to.
Thanks for all the suggestions in the comments, I will leave them all up.

If you want me to consider your site, you’d do well to make a case for why your site is worth of being chosen.

I would make the case, but I think that you link to me a lot as it is. As it is, I’m sitting here looking at who I’d like you to link because of who they might link [and whether or not they’d participate]. I’m thinking that Rands would be an excellent selection, especially because you could probably talk him into paying it forward.

I nominate http://www.ringnokia.com/
I’ve been reading a lot of Stefan Constantinescu’s RingNokia blog. He posts 5-10 times per day. He does a great job of summarizing the day’s Nokia happenings while adding his own criticism and analysis. His latest set of posts and examples related to Nokia phone image quality is fantastic.
The best thing about Stefan is that he loves Nokia enough to regularly point out where their products fall short and need improvement.

Hi Alex, I guess it would be silly to ask you to Pay it Forward to my science portal http://www.sciencebase.com

Why not pay it forward to all interested party? Nothing wrong with having more than one link!
Oh…and thanks for paying it foward.

Hi,
Please consider my site to pay it forward.
Why? Because people don’t know my blog which is full of some cool information. I’m honest about the fact that I take paid reviews but only offer honest opinions and write ups (gotta make a living somehow, diapers are expensive).
I like to offer help and tips whenever I can through my blog. I believe in doing good and receiving good.
And of course if you do it Pay it Forward to me I will Pay it Forward to three more people as well. (Just saw the movie a few days ago again - tragic ending)

Hi Alex,
I would like to submit my site for your consideration. The site and the idea behind is very much like Pay it Forward, it’s called One Kind Act.
Thanks in advance,
Matthew
