With some help from Dougal, I’ve got a new version of Twitter Tools that should be compatible with WordPress 2.3+ ready for final testing.
Twitter Tools is a WordPress plugin that creates an integration between your WordPress blog and your Twitter account. Pull your tweets into your blog and create new tweets on blog posts and from within WordPress.
Please note: this version is likely incompatible with versions of WordPress prior to 2.3 and is definitely incompatible with versions of WordPress prior to 2.2.

I was wondering… would it be actually possible to make URLs in the tweets clickable? I can’t believe Twitter hasn’t implemented that feature itself, it’s just a bit cumbersome epsecially since shortened URLs give you no clue where they’re going.

Good plugin, I like the fact that this combined with a twitter plugin for facebook updates all my statuses from a single source.
Is there any plans to integrate a value into the plugin to add a name infront of the update? I hardcoded my name in the front of the update myself, but was curious.
