    With YouTube at least, it was a revenue issue. No ads in the HTMl5 videos.

    I understand that, but why do some play as HTML5 and some not? Happens on YouTube.com and embedded videos. Seems to have to do with how it is embedded/linked. Haven’t figured out the pattern yet.

    @alexkingorg Did you check it’s not a SSL issue? I saw it happen once, though the error was something else.

    The newer iframe embeds are best for detecting the browser abilities. Lots of the web doesn’t use this method yet.
