TiVo should be smart enough to know that it is connected through a fat pipe. While it is recording a sporting event (or any live event I guess) it should go check to see if the event started late or is likely to run late and adjust the end time accordingly (assuming that there is no recording set to start immediatly after the current show). I really don’t like watching an entire event and having to a web page to see how it finally ended up. 😡
