I want one of these RSS readers to create an open format for storing my list of feeds and the read state of my feeds on a server using WebDAV or something like that. Make sure there is buy-in from enough of the rest of the RSS Readers to make it viable, etc. etc. This way my feed lists stay in sync and I won’t see the same posts I just read when I change computers. C’mon guys, get on it. 🙂

If it doesn’t happen soon, I’m switching to a web based aggregator – nice fat client usability features be damned. If someone out there is writing a web based aggregator (PHP/MySQL maybe?) and wants interface help, let me know. I think with the right amount of JavaScript, a web based aggregator could be pretty cool.
