Since I’m going to be doing some work with people remotely, I needed to get a camera to use for video conferencing. I got the Logitech Notebook Pro.

I was tempted to get the iSight, but finally decided I needed to get something that was both Mac and Windows compatible. I’m going to be doing some work on Windows and need to be able to use it on that machine as well. Since I’ll be doing some travelling and working on laptops, I wanted to get something small that would set on the laptop.

The little camera works fairly well. I can use it on the Mac w/ Yahoo Messenger and iChat (using iChatUSB) and will be able to use it on Yahoo and MSN on the Windows. It isn’t real stable when it’s sitting on the PowerBook, but overall far I’m pretty pleased.
