I’ve made the first beta of the multi-user version of tasks available to the sponsors. I set it up so they can use the multi-user beta to send feedback, bug reports, etc. Might as well just have them create tasks and assign them to me, right? 🙂
The functionality is all pretty much there at this point… if you’re willing to consider certain little things like the PDA version not working yet as a bug. 😉
There are still some rough edges and I need to write upgrade and install scripts, but it should be pretty solid for an initial beta release. Especially considering how much re-writing has gone on. I’ll try to write up a list of new features soon… there have been a lot of nice enhancements.
It’s not too late to get in on the beta cycles if you want to sponsor the development, just let me know if you’re interested.

…probably have to give you a respectable donation if your multi-user implementation works well, can’t wait!
I think the multi-user version is going to cost money. I’m still working on how the licensing will be set up, but I do intend to keep a donationware version available as well.
You can read more on this in my Re-thinking Donationware post.
