This weekend we were back in the Bay Area for a friend‘s wedding. It was great and a little bittersweet to see so many friends back there.

It was a strange feeling being back as a visitor to the place I lived for the last decade. Since we haven’t moved into our house yet, I feel a little in limbo; the Bay Area isn’t home anymore but I’m not quite home yet here in Colorado.

Our house painting is supposed to be wrapping up at the end of this week, so we’ll probably move in another week or two. I’m really looking forward to being in the new place; though the actual moving I’m not as excited about. 🙂
