On a whim, I replaced my old mouse pad with a big old Wow!Pad last week. I’m pleased with it so far.
For some reason it didn’t work at all with my Pocket Mouse when I tried it on the road (probably dying batteries), but it’s working like a champ with the Pilot Mouse.
My wrist/hand was a little uncomfortable using the big gel wrist pad in the Fellowes mouse pad (though I highly recommend the plastic gel wrist pad over the cloth covered wrist pad) and it was a little on the small side. The Wow!Pad is big and flat – much more comfortable. It’s also a little more subtle on the desk. 🙂
Bought this pad from Office Depot for $2.95 “wrong price on shelf”. Regular price was $9.95. Mouse pad is excellent. I use a Logitech Mx518 gaming mouse and the mouse “feet/pad” slide great over the WOWpad surface. Tracking is excellent with no jumping around that I have seen before. The non slip bottom will not move, the pad has to be picked up and moved. Even for the regular price of $10 I can highly recommend this pad.
BTW, please visit my website and leave a commen on what you think about it.
Thanks
Tim
I just bought the large black flat WOW!Pad today. Using it now with my factory HP optical mouse. I love the feel of it, but if i let the mouse sit a second or two and go to use it again, it doesn’t register the initial movement. also, it seems to lose it’s place on the screen. I play online games where quick and responsive mousing is important (also a semi-pc power user). If anyone knows a way i can change the responsivness of my mouse, please let me know. I would like not to have to run back to Office Depot to make a return.
