Junior Achievement Bowl-a-thon

Posted in: Society, General

This Saturday, I’m going to be participating in a bowl-a-thon to support Junior Achievement. This is a great organization and I’m happy to be able to help out with my donation and time.

The point of this is to raise money for JA, so if you’d like to sponsor my participation in the bowl-a-thon (basically give some cash to JA), please send your contribution to paypal at alexking dot org.

I’ll report back with how much money I raised, and how poorly I bowled. :)

That’s excellent initiative. I once competed (and won) Junior Achievements and I must thank all those who made it possible.

By the way, you found two interesting ways to misspell “achievement”.

    Bowl-a-thon Success
The Junior Achievement Bowl-a-thon was quite a success, our three hour event raised about $6500. You know you’re getting old when your arm is tired from bowling for three hours. :)
