…it will be a bit screwy for the next hour or so. UPDATE: Ok, it should all be working again.

tasks is back in the top 10 at HotScripts. It has been just out of the top 10 list for a little while because as part of their site re-design, they lowered the minimum vote restriction from 25 (I think, this is a bit of an educated guess) to 10. Over the last few weeks,…

I don’t know what happened, but somehow the Kansas City Royals didn’t get the memo that they were supposed to be swooning and falling out of the AL Central race right about now. I’ve got a high stakes bet (2 lunches!) with a buddy of mine that they will 1) fall apart and finish under…

I chatted with Matt today about some of his WordPress plans. He’s got some great ideas and plans for the system. I think the b2photos add-on I’m working on will only be a temporary solution. 🙂 Looks like my RSS Comments Feed will be included in the near future, along with the cursor-aware HTML toolbar.

This is an initial test of b2photos, an add-on for b2 and WordPress that manages posting photos with blog entries, or a single photo as an entry, photo-blog style. There should be 9 random photos I took over the weekend accompanying this post. Ok, it seems to work, post a comment if anything looks funny.

I’ve added an RSS feed for comments in b2 and WordPress to my b2 Hacks section.

I’ve added RSS 2.0 feeds for the comments on my blog. Now you can subscribe to the comments of a post you’ve commented on and follow other responses to your comments if you want to. I’ve written versions for b2 and WordPress. I’m going to be moving to WordPress very soon so I actually wrote…

I’ve updated the photos 4.0b1 zip file to fix the warning message some were seeing (from engine.php line 143). If this is bothering you, you can change your php.ini to show only errors or download 4.0b1 again or edit engine.php as described in the photos Yahoo! Group. This post is part of the project: Photos.…

photos 4.0b1 is up for download. This beta adds the file browser I previously mentioned here and some other goodies. As with all beta releases, use at your own risk. 🙂 I bumped the version number to 4.0 because there were too many big changes for this to be a point release. I still need…

tasks version 1.6.2 is up for download. This fixes a server time difference bug and a JavaScript bug that put ‘undefined’ or ‘null’ in as closing notes if you didn’t enter any when using the ‘Mark Complete’ icon. The on-line demo is updated. This post is part of the project: Tasks Pro™. View the project…

Ken Rosenthal has written a good little rant about changes and problems with the all-star game. Personally, I think giving home field advantage to the league whose team wins the all-star game is dumb, really dumb. I agree that the all-star game has lost much of its luster, and that it should be a harder…

If you don’t have CRON access on your server, you may want to check out Psuedo-CRON. I think I’ll add this to the tasks documentation. Really handy for updating your iCal file or sending you e-mail reminders. I wish I’d read one of these articles before doing my own experimentation. Luckily, I did manage to…
