Bummer they are already backordered until late April. I’d put in my order now, but with something like this I’d rather get my hands on it before I buy it if I can. Hopefully they’ll be able to fill their retail channels with it in the next few months.
UPDATE: These look identical to the Kensington StudioBoard Mechanical Keyboard. Maybe I can find one of these locally…
man, I loved that keyboard. in fact, long after I sold my last mac, I had one of those keyboards in my closet. 🙂
Sorry..just stumbled on this posting. But I have to say, the Apple Extended wasn’t the best keyboard Apple made. That honor (well not really an honor as most of Apple’s keyboards have sucked) goes to the Apple Adjustable Keyboard. It had the clickity springback of the old IBM keyboards, but had great ergonomics. My theory is that Steve has no use for keyboards, because it’s obvious he doesn’t care if people get CTS using them.
