Usually I’d throw this in Sunday’s ‘Around the web’ links, but I’m too excited about it: Matias recreates ‘the best keyboard Apple ever made’.

The Tactile Pro uses the same key switches as the old Apple Extended Keyboard. I used one of these for years and the feel of its keys is phenomenal. Read Adam Engst’s review in TidBITS.

Bummer they are already backordered until late April. I’d put in my order now, but with something like this I’d rather get my hands on it before I buy it if I can. Hopefully they’ll be able to fill their retail channels with it in the next few months.

UPDATE: These look identical to the Kensington StudioBoard Mechanical Keyboard. Maybe I can find one of these locally…
