This is a smart decision. We have WordPress 3.5 compatibility updates for RAMP, Carrington Build, FaveBusiness and FavePersonal prepped and ready to release. I’m very glad we’ll be releasing them on Monday instead of late on a Friday. It’s also heartening to see such a measured response in the comments.

When you email me to say you don’t yet have answers you shouldn’t close with: “In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions.”

I really like the new Twitterrific on the iPad, but I am sticking with Tweetbot on the iPhone.

I’ve upgraded this site to WordPress 3.5 (rc4) to help test the media compatibility changes we’ve got in place for an upcoming release of our FavePersonal theme. Please let me know if anything looks out of whack.

It was 6 years ago that I first floated the idea of a generic icon for sharing1 – I’m thrilled and amazing at how well this little icon has done. It’s great to see ShareThis going strong as well. Above are a few screenshots I’ve captured over the years of the share icon in action.…

A hearty congratulations to all of my friends at RedMonk – a tremendous milestone.

Coding in the real world is about tradeoffs; we have to do the best thing we can with the time, resources, and tools at our disposal. These tradeoffs may not result in an According-to-Hoyle OO (or functional) design, but we’re not writing code to provide examples of programming paradigms or design patterns; we’re writing it to accomplish something and provide value.
