The total purse for the WordPress 1.5 Theme Competition (blog) is up to a staggering ~$900 worth of cash and prizes.
With almost two weeks left in the competition, I’m already comfortable calling it a smashing success. There have been 38 themes posted plus 6 more that I’ve received in the last 24 hours that I will be processing and posting later tonight. For comparison, last year’s Style Competition generated 38 styles during the entire competition (though another 70+ have been added since).
Many thanks to the generous sponsors and the talented designers that have already entered designs. Remember, you still have until next Friday (March 25th) to get in as many designs as you can!

Wanted to let you know of a good thread on Owen’s blog http://www.asymptoma[...]heme-review/ that is talking about some theme features. A database of themes with certain searchable out of the box characteristics would be a huge plus to the WP community.
