Today I worked from a car dealership (60,000 mile service), a coffee shop and a restaurant (before coming back home) – it’s cool being mobile. 🙂

I’ve done a few searches and looked through the preference, but I can’t figure out how to set a default alarm (10 minutes before) for appointments in iCal. Is it possible? Anyone know how to do this? I guess one solution would be to have an AppleScript dialog prompt for creating an appointment (capture the…

For some reason I hate the ‘take new screenshots’ portion of every new release. I’ve even got a little Photoshop action that resizes everything for me, but it still drive me nuts. If I didn’t know that people love screenshots, I’d try to skip the whole thing. 🙂

When I first launched this web site, I spent quite a bit of time looking at my traffic stats and referer logs. I don’t do that very often anymore (the novelty has worn off a bit), but it’s nice when I do check to see that the number of daily vists has been steadily climbing…

Perhaps I spoke too quickly in defending Kensington in the comments of my previous post. I got an e-mail confirmation that my order was cancelled, then a day later I got an shipment notification e-mail on the cancelled order. Sure enough, the product showed up a few days later and my credit card was charged.…

I still have a mix tape1 a friend made for me back in college. The last song on Side A is Round Here by Counting Crows, but as the song ends it fades into an instrumental tune that I don’t know. My guess is that there was something else originally on the tape before the…

I’m already turning down work and…

Does anyone have experience with a hosted conference call service? The cheapest I’ve found is $.045/minute per person, but there are lots of options out there.

Sorry folks, I don’t know how the Styles and my Plugins fare on WordPress 1.5 because I haven’t had a chance to test them all yet. My guess is that some work (the styles likely work OK on the ‘WP Classic’ theme) while some may break. When I get some time I will test, update…
